Chef Colin

Colin is a co-chef of Et Al., a collective of chefs in Tulsa cooking their way toward a more happy, healthy, inclusive, fair, and delicious future for the hospitality industry. More details at Et Al. can be found at etaltulsa.com

Colin has worked at Oklahoma’s best restaurants including Nonesuch (America’s Best New Restaurant in 2018), and Oren (Tulsa’s 2017 Best New Restaurant and James Beard Semi-Finalist).

Mr. Sato the Teacher

Colin has degrees in mathematics, physics, philosophy, and discourse analysis from DePaul University and taught mathematics, computer programming, and engineering for 5 years in public schools (Hale High School and Collegiate Hall). He left teaching to follow his childhood dream of becoming a chef. This course is the culmination of those twin passions: teaching/learning and food.
